On a trip to Italy in 2005, as we were driving down a country road, quite fast, I saw a blur of green from my peripheral vision and had to holler,"stop the car".I took photos and on returning back to the USA, looked it up on the internet. This gave me enough information for the painting. The trees in front are called "parasol pines" because they look like an umbrella.
